The AGM of of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League took place on Wednesday 18th June 2025 at the Towcester Suite, Coleview Community Centre, Stratton St Margaret, Swindon. The meeting was led by League Chairman Brian Busson and started with a minutes silence in memory of former League Vice Chairman Stuart Withers who had sadly passed away in November.
The meeting that followed saw the proposed rule changes all approved and the proposed constitution of the various divisions agreed, including the U18 divisions, with the U18 clubs voting narrowly in favour of a two division split given the number of teams entering next season. The league fixtures in the U18 Division for Season 2025-26 will be augmented by a cup competition run initially on a group basis.

Season Dates
The start and end dates for the various divisions were agreed to be as follows:
- Premier Division and Division One are set to commence on Saturday 2nd August 2025 and complete by Saturday 2nd May 2026 (end date set by FA Leagues Committee).
- U.18’s Floodlight Division - The start date will be week commencing 1st September 2025 and will be completed by week ending Friday 1st May 2026.
- Veterans’ Divisions will commence from Monday 1st September 2025 and complete by Friday 1st May 2026.
- Ladies Divisions will commence on Sunday 31st August 2025 and complete by Sunday 3rd May 2026.
The AGM ended with the traditional end of season awards. The winners for the 2024-25 Season were as follows:
The Referees Appreciation Award Winner - Richard Leech
The Referees' Appreciation Award was decided by the Hon League Referees' Appointments Secretary Darren O'Neil and Referee's Secretary Adie Cripps and for Season 2024-25 the winners shield was awarded to Richard Leech who covered an impressive 39 games across the Premier Division, Division One and the Veterans' Divisions last season. Congratulations to Richard on his award, which was presented on the night by Adie Cripps, and we look forward to seeing Richard at our games again next season.
The Young Referee of the Year Award Winner - Freddie Faser
The second Referees' Award for the past season, again decided by the Hon League Referees' Appointments Secretary Darren O'Neil and Referee's Secretary Adie Cripps, was for the Young Referee of the Year. This award was presented by Life Member and former Registration Secretary Rod Wirdnam and for Season 2024-25 the award went to Swindon based Freddie Fraser. Freddie has also been promoted to Level 5 for next season which will
mean he will now be eligible for middles in our Premier Division. Again well done to Freddie on his award and also his promotion.
The Colin Nunn Veterans' Divisions Referee of the Year Award Winner - Kevin Watkins
The final referees award is the Colin Nunn Veterans' Divisions Referee of the Year Award which was established in memory of the popular Referee's Appointment's Secretary Colin Nunn who sadly passed away during the 2023-24 Season. The winner was decided by current Veterans' Secretary Duncan Clarke with the winner of the award for Season 2024-25 being Kevin Watkins. Unfortunately Kevin was unable to attend the AGM and the award will be presented to him at a later date.
The EC Mills Sportsmanship Trophy Winners - Ferndale Rodbourne Ladies
The format of the EC Mills Sportsmanship awards followed the same format that had been introduced at the end of Season 2023-24 with a winner and a runner-up from each category of division declared separately. In each case the winner will receive £125 and the runners-up £75. The marks for these awards are given by referees and by opposing clubs and adjusted to an assumed figure of 30 games per team. The overall winner across the five divisions then receives the EC Mills Sportsmanship Trophy. The respective winners and overall winner for Season 2024-25 were as follows:

The Club Secretary’s Award Winner - Philip Hendy (Bishops Cannings)
The Club Secretary's Award, which is voted on by four of the League's officers, was won by Philip Hendy from Bishops Cannings with an impressive maximum score of 160 points. However, it was a really close run thing once again with Des Williams from Letcombe finishing just two point behind Phil and Chris Benson (Faringdon Town), Malcolm Sealy (Calne Town) and Rhianon Stidever (Malmesbury Vics Ladies) just three points behind the winner. There were then a further two Secretaries just one point further behind those three in joint sixth place.
The Top 6 Secretaries and their respective points was as follows:
1. Philip Hendy (Bishops Cannings) - 160 Points
2. Des Williams (Letcombe) - 158 Points
3.= Chris Benson (Faringdon Town), Malcolm Sealy (Calne Town) and Rhianon Stidever (Malmesbury Victoria Ladies) - 157 Points
