Two teams from the Ladies Premier Division of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League have entered this season's Adobe Women's FA Cup, the two teams being Marlborough Town and Highworth Town.
Marlborough Town will play in the Preliminary Round of the competition where they have been drawn at home to Yateley United from Division One of the Thames Valley Counties Women's League. If they defeat Yateley they will be at home again in the First Round Qualifying with Wallingford & Crowmarsh, also from Division One of the Thames Valley League, their potential opponents. Highworth Town have a bye in the Preliminary Round and will come into the competition at the First Qualifying Round stage where their opponents will be Ashridge Park, yet another side from Division One of the Thames Valley Counties Women's League Division One.

Some Big Wins in Prem on
Ladies Opening Day
Premier Division
The opening Sunday in the Ladies Premier Division of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League saw Melksham Town, Marlborough Town and Westbury all register big wins in their opening games of the season.
Melksham Town entertained Purton Kingsdown in their opening game of the season. In last season’s equivalent fixture back in April Purton Kingsdown had returned to Swindon with all three points courtesy of a narrow 2-1 victory that also saw them complete a league double over Melksham. In this season’s first fixture between the two sides Melksham avenged those two defeats with a big 7-2 win. Star of the show was Izzy McGuinness who notched a hat-trick, Lily Baker bagged a brace and there were further goals from Nicholle Duncan and India Mulliss.
Newly promoted Marlborough Town had actually got their season underway the previous Sunday when they made their debut in the Women’s FA Cup. They went mightily close to progressing to the next round as they drew 2-2 with Yateley United from the Thames Valley Counties League in the Preliminary Round of this prestigious national competition, meaning penalties were needed to settle matters. Unfortunately for Marlborough it was Yateley who held their nerve in the spot kick contest, winning 4-2 to progress to the First Qualifying Round. On Sunday Marlborough Town visited Swindon Supermarine in their opening league fixture of the 2025-26 campaign. It was close affair in the first half with the teams turning round all square at 2-2 with all still to play for. The second half would belong to Marlborough though, as four unanswered goals saw them run out 6-2 winners. Isabella Cox and Izzy Kirwan both scored twice, with last season’s leading scorer Sienna Lewis and Lily Wain getting the other two Marlborough goals. The two first half goals for Swindon Supermarine were scored by Shannon Whiteley and Maddison Fox.

Another side to register an opening day 6-2 away win was Westbury in their game at another of the newly promoted sides, Barford Hornets. Last season Westbury had struggled in the Premier Division, winning just one game that counted in the final table after the table had been adjusted for withdrawals, but they certainly justified their desire to stay in the Premier Division with an impressive opening day performance. As with the game at Swindon Supermarine, the two teams turned round all square at 2-2, Elisha Taylor and Lauren Baggot with the goals for the Hornets. Second half saw Westbury take command scoring four times without reply to take the three points and get their season off to a winning start. Alice Bevan scored twice and there were further goals from Tiffany Crockford-Ward, Naomi Tippetts, Megan Ayliffe and Sarah Cross.

Another newly promoted side, Trowbridge Wanderers were Highworth Town’s visitors at the Rec. Last season Highworth had finished in third spot and reached the cup final but in the summer saw four players depart to join FC Abbey Meads, with others leaving to join other clubs, and will be in something of a rebuild this season. Their encounter with Trowbridge Wanderers would prove to be a tight and entertaining affair. The visitors Trowbridge went in front from an excellent free kick from distance from Jenna Sawyer that just went under the crossbar beating the Highworth keeper. Trowbridge then continued to threaten the Highworth goal in that first half as they went in search of a second with the home side remaining a threat on the break. However, a well marshalled Trowbridge back line caught the home side forwards offside on several occasions and it was just the one goal in it at half time. Highworth had a much better second half though, equalising through Lucy March. That was to be the end of the afternoon’s scoring with a point apiece a fair reflection of a competitive and entertaining encounter.
Despite fielding those signings from Highworth Town plus the players who had played for Purton last season in the South West Regional Women’s League last season, FC Abbey Meads fell to defeat in their opening game in the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League, going down 3-1 against new side Keynsham Town “A” on the 3G at Moredon. Two goals from Rose Thompson plus one from Kerry Bartlett did the damage for Keynsham, substitute Amelia Fowles with the goal for FC Abbey Meads.
Division One
There were four games played in the Ladies Division One on the opening Sunday of the season. The game at St Lukes Academy featured two of the new sides to the league this season, Stratton and Bishops Cannings, who were playing their first ever competitive fixture. The two sides produced an entertaining game. Paige Brazier put visitors Bishops Cannings ahead with just eight minutes on the clock and it would remain that way until just before half time, when Brazier added a second to give Bishops Cannings a 2-0 half time lead. Second half saw Stratton come back strongly scoring two of their own through Katy Farr but two more from Brazier to give her four in the game meant it was Bishops Cannings who returned home with all three points. The two sides are set to meet again in the County Cup later in the month.
Having missed out on a top three finish by just a single point last season, Salisbury will be aiming to finish in the top three this coming season. They got off to a winning start away at Purton Kingsdown Reserves. Salisbury took the game to the home side from the off and quickly went in front, Melissa Penn getting on the end of a cross from the right to put Salisbury 1-0 up. Salisbury continued to have the upper hand and doubled their lead when a surging run down the wing by Georgina Salt was followed by a pinpoint cross that found Samantha Deacon who made no mistake to make it 2-0 at the break. Second half again saw Salisbury in control, and they went further ahead when last season’s top scorer Nicole Webster opened her account for the season, getting on the end of another ball into the box to make it 3-0. Despite going 3-0 down Purton Kingsdown fought back hard and got a foothold back in the game scoring from a long-range free kick. They then added a second on the break to reduce the deficit further, Claire Baker and Whitney Millhench with the two Purton Kingsdown goals. However, any chance of a comeback was dashed when Webster scored her second of the game to put Salisbury 4-2 ahead as they opened the season on a winning note.
There was a high-scoring game at Elcot Lane where new side Marlborough Town Reserves entertained Malmesbury Vics, with the two sides sharing nine goals with Malmesbury eventually edging it by the odd goal. Lisa Lane bagged a brace for Malmesbury with Emilee Collier, Amelie Gray and Shona Watt also getting on the score sheet. In reply for Marlborough there were two goals from Kitty Bevan and one from Victoria Goldson and Rhiannon Williams.
There was a close local derby game in Swindon on Sunday as Ferndale Rodbourne entertained Blunsdon at Southbrook Rec. Ferndale led 1-0 at half time thanks to an early Charlotte Lancaster strike. However, Blunsdon turned things around in the second half, goals from Lyndsey Plant and substitute Chloe Bailey putting them 2-1 up. Blunsdon had chances to extend their lead but were then to rue those missed chances when Ferndale levelled matters up thanks to an own goal as it finished 2-2.
The game between FC Chippenham and Durrington was postponed with Durrington unable to raise a side.

Sunday 7th September 2025
Keynsham Town "A" & Marlborough
Town Secure Back-to-Back Wins
Premier Division
Week two in the Ladies divisions of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League proved to be a problematical one with three of the scheduled ten games not going the full duration, one in the Premier Division was postponed due to the weather and two in Division One ended up being abandoned.
In the Premier Division there was a big win for Keynsham Town “A” as they made it two wins from their opening two games with a 12-0 home victory over Calne Town who were playing their first game of the season. Vicky Vipond led the way scoring five times, substitute Tamzin Dunne bagged a brace and there were further goals from Rose Thompson, Harriet Walker, Tilly Welsford and Gracie Reed, with the other goal being an own goal.
The only other winner on the day were Marlborough Town who also made it back-to-back wins to start the season. They were made to work hard for the points though by Purton Kingsdown, Marlborough scoring one goal in each half through Elyssia O'Keeffe and Lily Wain to run out 2-0 winners. Purton Kingsdown went close to reducing the deficit on several occasions but were unable to find the back of the net. Your Sport Swindon were at the game with their cameras and subscribers can view highlights from the game by clicking on the Your Sport Swindon logo below.
The other two games both finished in draws. Swindon Supermarine’s visitors were newly promoted Barford Hornets and the two sides served up an entertaining and sporting affair that saw them share six goals and the points. Barford Hornets led 1-0 at half time thanks to a second goal of the season from Elisha Taylor, which came in only the second minute of the game. They then doubled their lead early in the second half, Georgi Bavister making it 2-0 within five minutes of the restart. Swindon Supermarine then turned things around scoring three times through Erin Hemsley, Maddison Fox and Chantelle Bayliss to lead 3-2. However, Barford Hornets fought back and ensured a share of the points with a late equaliser from Maelin Hayes as it finished 3-3.
There was another tight game at Westbury where Westbury Ladies entertained Melksham Town. The visitors Melksham went in front on 24 minutes, Lily Baker scoring her third goal of the season. The lead did not last long though as Alice Bevan brought Westbury level within a minute, also getting her third goal of the season in the process. Rebecca Guy then scored on the stroke of half time to give Westbury a narrow 2-1 half time lead. It remained that way until 20 minutes from time when India Mulliss equalised with what proved to be the last goal of the afternoon as the two sides had to settle for a point apiece. Barbara and Alan Swan were at the Westbury Ladies v Melksham Town game and more of their excellent pictures from this game can be found on the League Group Facebook Page.

The game between Trowbridge Wanderers and FC Abbey Meads was postponed due to standing water on the pitch following heavy rain.
The two promoted sides from last season, Bemerton Heath Harlequins and AFC Brislington, started their seasons at a higher level on Sunday and both former Wiltshire Senior League sides secured points in their opening game of the season. In the Southern Region Division One South, Bemerton won 4-2 at home against Bournemouth Poppies whilst in the South West Regional Women’s League North Division, AFC Brislington drew 2-2 with Gloucester City Reserves.
Division One
Back to our own league, as noted above two of the games in Division One were abandoned. The three games that did get played included a second win of the season for Bishops Cannings who won 5-1 away at Durrington. On target for Bishops Cannings were Lily Taylor with two, Georgia Brown, Melanie Jackson and Megan Price, Amy Francis with the consolation goal for Durrington.
After last season’s player availability problems that had seen FC Chippenham forced to withdraw from the league, FC Chippenham are clearly in a a happier place as they won their opening game of the 2025-26 Season on Sunday, returning from Swindon with all three points following a 4-1 away win over Ferndale Rodbourne. There were two goals for Holly Provis plus further strikes from Isabelle Llewellyn and Amy Totterdell, Karolina Haylock getting the Ferndale Rodbourne goal.
On a day of three drawn games across the two divisions, there was another high scoring draw in the contest between Marlborough Town Reserves and Purton Kingsdown Reserves at Elcot Lane. Marlborough led 3-1 at half time but Purton Kingsdown turned things around in the second half to win the second half by the same score line as it finished 4-4. Kitty Bevan had an enjoyable afternoon scoring a hat-trick for Marlborough Town, Kerry Ash with the other Marlborough goal, whilst for Purton Kingsdown there were two goals for Whitney Milhench, one for Teegan Milhench and one for Hayley Shipp.
Unfortunately the game between Stratton and Malmesbury Vics was abandoned due to a suspected broken leg suffered by Stratton player Katy Farr. Thankfully, after being taken to hospital by ambulance, it was confirmed that there was no break or fracture, but Katy will be out of action for a while and all at the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League wish her a speedy recovery. Visitors Malmesbury Vics led 4-1 at the time the game was abandoned thanks to two goals from Laura Deacon and one from Emilee Collier and Amelie Gray and the game will now need to be discussed by the Discipline Committee as to whether it will be replayed or the result at the time of the abandonment allowed to stand.
Similarly, the game between Staverton Rangers and Blunsdon was also abandoned although this was due to a pitch invasion by a local youth with a weapon that involved the police having to be called. The game had 20 minutes to go with Blunsdon leading 4-0 at the time of the abandonment thanks to two goals from Jody Nicholls and one from both Lyndsey Plant and Laura Gammon.

Sunday 14th September
Marlborough Town in Prem & Bishops
Cannings in Div1 Three From Three
After last week’s issues that had seen just seven of the ten fixtures completed in the two Ladies divisions of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League it is pleasing to report that all ten games in Week Three were completed on Sunday.
Premier Division
In the Premier Division the early league leaders are last season’s Division One champions Marlborough Town who made it three wins from their opening three fixtures with a 3-1 home win over Melksham Town. It was all square at 1-1 at the break but two second half goals for the home side made sure of the points. After scoring five times in Marlborough Town Reserves opening two fixtures Kitty Bevan was given her chance in the first team and continued her scoring form getting one of the three Marlborough goals, the other two goals coming through Sienna Lewis and a third of the season from Lily Wain, Andrea Chludilova with the Melksham goal. With Keynsham “A” without a fixture Marlborough Town are three points clear at the top whilst, despite the defeat, Melksham remained in third place.
Highworth Town are up to fourth spot after they secured their first win of the season, a 2-0 home victory over Swindon Supermarine, bouncing back from last week’s heavy defeat in the FA Cup. Both Highworth goals came in the first half with Elsiana Wraight scoring both. The opener came from a shot from just outside the box on the right-hand side which deceived the Swindon Supermarine keeper at the near post to find its way into the back of net. The second came when Swindon Supermarine conceded possession midway in their own half allowing Wraight to run at and outpace three defenders before firing into the far bottom corner of the net for 2-0. Wraight was then denied a hat-trick by a fantastic save from the Swindon Supermarine keeper diving to her right. The second half, which was played in atrocious conditions, saw Supermarine grow into the game, but they were unable to find a way back into the game and Highworth were unable to add to their tally as they recorded a deserved 2-0 win to remain unbeaten in the league after two games. Your Sport Swindon were at the game with their cameras and subscribers can view the highlights and hear the views of Highworth manager Steve Curtis and Swindon Supermarine manager Nick Masi by clicking on the Your Sport Swindon logo below.
Biggest winners on Sunday were Purton Kingsdown who also recorded their first win of the season with a 9-0 away victory at Barford Hornets. The game was effectively over by half time as the visitors scored five unanswered goals in the first half and four more after the break to round off a good afternoon for the Swindon based side. Charlotte Robinson, Katrina Dias and Millie Loveday all scored twice with the other three goals coming through Shannel Baldwin, Alexi Lee and substitute Ellis Dyke.
Another side registering a big score and their first win of the season were FC Abbey Meads. Having been frustrated by the weather last week which had seen their game against Trowbridge Wanderers postponed, there was no danger of the wet weather causing a postponement with the 3G pitch at Moredon. As in the game at Barford Hornets, most of the damage was inflicted in the first half by FC Abbey Meads against opponents Westbury Ladies. Debbie Rose fired FC Abbey Meads ahead on 12 minutes with Emma Skinner then doubling the lead midway through the half. Two goals from Amelia Fowles in the space of eight minutes put FC Abbey Meads 4-0 ahead and then a fifth from Michelle Rich just before half time put FC Abbey Meads in a commanding position at the break. Claire Moreton then made it 6-0 six minutes into the second half and further goals from Mia Wolo and Emma Skinner rounded off a good afternoon for the home side. FC Abbey Meads are set for another frustrating Sunday next weekend as their scheduled County Cup game against Durrington has already been conceded by their opponents Durrington.
The final game of the weekend in the Premier Division saw another side, Calne Town, pick up their first win of the season, a hard fought 4-3 success at home against Trowbridge Wanderers. The two sides turned around at the break all square at 2-2 with all to play for and two further goals for Calne after the break, with just the one for Trowbridge, saw Calne secure the three points. Seven goals in the game with seven different scorers, Ellie Hamill, Abbie Pickett, Milly Price and Hannah Bishop getting the goals for Calne Town, Lauren Gowen, Jenna Sawyer and Isabella Green with the Trowbridge Wanderers reply.
Division One
The early leaders in Ladies Division One are new side Bishops Cannings who made it three wins from three games to start the season with a narrow 2-1 win over Ferndale Rodbourne. A solitary goal from Georgia Brown had given the home side the lead and it remained just the one goal in it until a minute from time when Megan Price doubled Bishops Cannings lead. There was still time for one more goal though as Natalie Mitchell pulled one back for Ferndale Rodbourne right at the death.
There are three other teams with 100% winning records but all three have so far played just two games. Malmesbury Victoria sit second in the table on goal difference after scoring 13 goals without reply at home against Durrington. Emilee Curtis led the way with five goals, Laura Deacon scored four, Emma Sharpe bagged a brace, with the other two goals coming through Lisa Lane and Shona Watt.
The other three games played in the division were much closer affairs. FC Chippenham sit third in the table with two wins from their two games so far after a 3-1 home win over Staverton Rangers. Amy Totterdell put FC Chippenham 1-0 up 12 minutes into the game and then added a second five minutes before the break. Maisie Harris pulled one back almost immediately for Staverton Rangers and there was just the one goal in it at half time. It remained that way until just after the hour mark when substitute Tyler Webb added a third for FC Chippenham to make sure of the three points for the home side.
Salisbury are the third side on six points from two games after a narrow 1-0 win at home against Marlborough Town Reserves, the all-important goal coming from Ellie Tompkins on 36 minutes. Spotting the Marlborough keeper off her line and, using the wind to her advantage, she shot from distance and the ball sailed into the top corner of the net to give Salisbury the lead. In difficult conditions the Salisbury defence, well marshalled by the returning keeper Zoe Barton, then ensured that Marlborough could not get back in the game, with Barton getting a clean sheet on her return to the side.
There was a local derby in Swindon when Purton Kingsdown Reserves entertained near neighbours Stratton at Kingsdown School. It was to prove to be a historic afternoon for the newly formed Stratton Ladies side as they registered their ever first league win thanks to two goals from both Chloe Brown and Sophie Smyth in a 4-2 success, Hope Hedges and Maz Hobbs with the Purton Kingsdown goals.

Sunday 21st September
No Real Shocks in Wiltshire FA
Women's County Cup First Round
Wiltshire FA Women's County Cup
There were no league games last weekend in the two ladies’ divisions of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League with it being the First Round of the Wiltshire FA ‘s County Cup. Of the ten scheduled ties there were seven games where Division One sides were up against Premier Division.
With one exception the games very much went the way of the Premier Division sides, with just one Division One side knocking out a Premier Division side, although it probably wouldn’t be classed as a traditional cup upset as the two teams had finished within one point of each other last season. The game in question was the visit of Salisbury to Premier Division side Barford Hornets with the Division One side Salisbury winning 3-1 thanks to two goals from Nicole Webster and one from Ellie Tomkins. Salisbury had led 3-0 but Barford Hornets pulled one back from the penalty spot, Molly McCarthy with the successful spot kick.
Calne Town and FC Abbey Meads both progressed to the Second Round without kicking a ball after both Purton Kingsdown Reserves and Durrington were unable to raise a side for their respective fixtures.
The other four inter-divisional ties were very much went the way of the Premier Division sides. Biggest winners of the day were Melksham Town who put 12 unanswered goals past an FC Chippenham side who had won both of their opening league games. Nicholle Duncan led the way scoring a hat-trick, Rebecca Kench and Izzy McGuiness both scored twice and there were further goals from Lilly Baker, Andrea Chludilova, Tilly McVey, India Mulliss and Libby Reeves.

Purton Kingsdown also had a big win at home against fellow Swindon based side Ferndale Rodbourne, a hat-trick from Whitney Milhench, two from Ellis Dyke plus further goals from Shannel Baldwin, Keevan Morris, Charlotte Robinson, and Sophie Chilcott securing a 9-0 win for Purton Kingsdown.
Highworth Town maintained their interest in the County Cup with a comfortable 6-0 away win over Division One side Staverton Rangers. The goals were shared around the team with Elsiana Wraight, Keeley Corcoran, Baeley Foster, Amelia Curtis, Abbie Blackmore, and Holly Traynor-Paget all on target for Highworth Town.
Marlborough Town continued their great start to the season which has seen them win their opening three league games and now also their First Round County Cup game, goals from Izzy Kirwan (2), Victoria Goldson, Emily Feilder and Lily Wain securing a 5-0 win for Marlborough Town over Division One side Blunsdon.
There was one all Premier Division tie but that also in the end turned into something of a one-sided affair as Swindon Supermarine scored seven at home against Trowbridge Wanderers. Chantelle Bayliss led the way scoring four times for Swindon Supermarine, Paige Cook bagged a brace, with Macie-Lee Andrews getting the other Supermarine goal.
There was also an all-Division One tie involving Stratton and Bishops Cannings. When they had met in the league on the opening day of the season, Bishops Cannings had won 4-2. Sunday saw Bishops Cannings secure a league and cup double over their Swindon based opponents, with hat-tricks for both Lucy Anne Skinner and Lily Taylor in a 6-2 win. The two Stratton goals were scored by Chloe Brown and Lauren Choules.
Like both Calne Town and FC Abbey Meads, Malmesbury Vics also progressed to the Second Round without playing their game with FC Abbey Meads U17 were another that was awarded.

Marlborough Win Again in Prem,
Four Prefect Records in Div 1
Premier Division
There were just three games played in the Ladies Premier Division of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League on Sunday with both Swindon Supermarine and Trowbridge Wanderers unable to fulfill their fixtures against FC Abbey Meads and Keynsham Town A.
The three games that did get played saw a couple of big wins. Marlborough Town continued their excellent start to the season following last season’s promotion. On Sunday they scored eight times without reply against Calne Town to make it four straight wins in the league to increase their lead at the top of the table to five points. Sienna Lewis scored a hat-trick, Kitty Bevan bagged a brace and there were further goals from Victoria Goldson, Izzy Kirwan and Elyssia O’Keeffe in the 8-0 win.
Melksham Town moved up to second place with a 10-0 victory over Barford Hornets with India Mulliss another player to score a hat-trick on the day, both Ella King and Nicholle Duncan scored twice, with goals from Lily Somers, Andrea Chludilova and an own goal completing the scoring.
It was a somewhat closer affair in the game between Westbury Ladies and Purton Kingsdown with the Swindon based side returning with all three points thanks to a 4-2 win. Former Bemerton Heath Harlequins striker Amy Hards led the way for Purton Kingsdown scoring twice with Alexi Lee and Millie Loveday getting the other two Purton Kingsdown goals, Megan Ayliffe and Sian McCarthy with the two Westbury goals. Alan and Barbara Swan were at the game with their cameras and more of their excellent pictures can be found on the League Facebook Group page.

Division One
There were no problems with the playing of fixtures in Division One as all five scheduled fixtures were completed and it was a day of away wins in the division, with all five games seeing the visitors come home with the three points. Bishops Cannings made it four wins from four games with a 4-0 away win over Staverton Rangers, two goals for both Georgia Brown and Paige Brazier in this latest Bishops Cannings success.
Three other teams also maintained their 100% winning start to the season but all three have played one game less than the leaders. Malmesbury Vics picked up their third win of the season away at Ferndale Rodbourne, a hat-trick from Rhianon Stidever and one from Emma Sharpe securing a 4-1 win, Shannon Fenton with a second half goal for Ferndale Rodbourne. Malmesbury sit second in the table ahead on goal difference from FC Chippenham and Salisbury.
FC Chippenham were the biggest winners in the division on Sunday, bouncing back from the previous week’s heavy defeat in the Wiltshire FA County Cup with a big win of their own against Blunsdon. Two goals from Lily Ayhan plus further strikes from Mary Murphy, Amy Totterdell, Holly Provis, Ella Johnson and Kate McIntosh completed the scoring for FC Chippenham in a 7-1 win, Kirst Baker with the consolation goal for Blunsdon.
Nicole Webster is the division’s leading scorer on seven goals after a productive Sunday in Swindon, scoring a hat-trick in Salisbury's 4-0 win over Stratton. Webster opened the scoring with a fine solo effort before scoring from a corner, getting on the end of an Angela Collins in-swinger at the back post. Salisbury’s third of the afternoon also came from a corner, Hannah Owen’s delivery into the box causing problems in the Stratton defence, with the ball finding its way into the net via a Stratton defender. The scoring on the afternoon was rounded off by a hat-trick goal from Webster with that seventh goal of the season.
Purton Kingsdown Reserves picked up their first win of the season on a good day for the club with a 4-0 victory at Durrington. Two goals from Lorna Newton plus one apiece from Keeva Morris and Hayley Shipp secured the points for Purton Kingsdown who moved up to fifth place in the table as a result of the win.

Marlborough Town Frustrated,
First Win For Three Teams in Div 1
Premier Division
Premier Division leaders Marlborough Town were left frustrated when their game away at Barford Hornets was postponed due to the pitch conditions following Storm Amy and the impact of games already played over the weekend. Despite their inactivity they remain top of the table following the weekend’s results.
Melksham Town moved to within two points of the league leaders with an emphatic away win at Highworth Town with the visitors scoring eight goals without reply to inflict a first league defeat of the season on Highworth. Rebecca Kench helped herself to a hat-trick, Izzy McGuinness bagged a brace and there were further goals from Tilly McVey, Ella King and India Mulliss.
Keynsham Town “A” are up to third spot, maintaining their 100% winning start to the season but were made to work hard for the points against a much-improved Westbury Ladies side. In the end a solitary goal from Keynsham’s Rose Thompson was all that separated the two sides.
After an opening day defeat, FC Abbey Meads made it back-to-back victories with a 6-2 home win in their local derby game against Purton Kingsdown at Moredon. The goals were shared around the team with Amelia Fowles, Hayley Huckin, Claire Moreton, Emma Skinner and Chloe Neate all scoring one apiece with the other FC Abbey Meads goal coming courtesy of an own goal. The two goals in reply for Purton Kingsdown were scored by Alexi Lee and Teegan Milhench. The final game in the division on Sunday was a tight affair between Calne Town and Swindon Supermarine, with the two sides having to settle for a point apiece following a 2-2 draw. Calne Town led 2-0 thanks to an own goal and one from Isobel Satchell but two late goals from Paige Cook rescued a point for Swindon Supermarine.
Division One
Once again there were no problems with the playing of fixtures in Division One as all five scheduled fixtures were played and there are now new leaders of the division after Bishops Cannings fell to their first defeat of the season. Prior to Sunday Blunsdon were without a win so far this season but an impressive performance at Green Lane saw them return home with all three points following a 5-3 win. Lyndsey Plant led the way scoring a hat-trick with Kaylee Weaving and an own goal completing the scoring for the visitors. In reply for Bishops Cannings, Elsie Brewer scored twice with Korinna Ballard-Willetts getting the other goal. Bishops Cannings slipped to second place on goal difference.
The new leaders are Malmesbury Victoria who had a big 10-2 win over a spirited Staverton Rangers side who to their credit kept going to the end of the game despite the heavy loss. Laura Deacon scored four times for Malmesbury, Emilee Collier bagged a hat-trick to head the division’s goal scoring chart at this early stage and there were further goals from Karen Mrashall, who bagged a brace, and Alice Allman. The two goals in reply for Staverton were both scored by Maisie Harris.
Salisbury joined Malmesbury and Bishops Cannings on 12 points at the top of the table, maintaining their perfect record in the process, with a narrow 1-0 win over bottom of the table Durrington who are clearly improving as the season progresses. The only goal of the game was scored early in the first half by Salisbury’s leading scorer Nicole Webster.
The other two games in the division both saw sides pick up their first wins of the season. In the local derby between Purton Kingsdown Reserves and Ferndale Rodbourne, two goals from Karolina Haylock secured a narrow 2-1 win for visitors Ferndale Rodbourne, Lorna Newton with the Purton Kingsdown Reserves goal. The win for Ferndale Rodbourne means they have already accumulated as many points as they achieved the whole of last season showing the improvement they have made in what is now their second season.
The other first-time winners were Marlborough Town Reserves, a hat-trick from Daisy Cox securing a 3-1 win over Stratton, Katrina Reynolds with the Stratton goal.

Marlborough Extend Lead, Two
Teams Retain Perfect Records in Div 1
Premier Division
Once again there were just four games played in the Ladies Premier Division of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League. This week league leaders Marlborough Town were able to play their game and took full advantage to increase their lead at the top of the table to five points with a 2-0 away win at Highworth Town thanks to goals from Victoria Goldson and Erin Robinson.
Second placed Melksham Town lost ground when they were beaten 3-0 at home by FC Abbey Meads. Amelia Fowles set the visitors on the way to victory with the opening goal just before the half hour mark. Michelle Rich then doubled FC Abbey Meads lead early in the second half before a third from substitute Brinliegh Gallagher 17 minutes from time made sure of the points for FC Abbey Meads. FC Abbey Meads sit fourth in the table six points behind leaders Marlborough Town but with a game in hand.
Calne Town picked up their second win of the season with a 3-1 away success against Purton Kingsdown who have yet to win at home in the league. Goals from Isobel Satchell, Hannah Bishop and Milly Price secured the three points for Calne, Ellis Dyke with the solitary goal for Purton Kingsdown. The win for Calne saw them move above their neaten opponents and Highworth Town into sixth spot in the table.
Westbury Ladies were the biggest winners of the afternoon smashing 16 goals past a struggling Trowbridge Wanderers who are finding it tough in the top division after their promotion last season after they finished runners-up in Division One behind Marlborough Town. Alice Bevan had an enjoyable afternoon scoring five of the Westbury goals, Rebecca Guy bagged a brace and there was one apiece for Olivia Dennett, Chloe Harkness, Millie Light, Sian McCarthy and Naomi Tippetts, the remaining goals coming by way of own goals scored by Trowbridge players. Barbara Swan was at the game with her camera and more of her excellent pictures can be found on the League Facebook Group Page.
The game between Swindon Supermarine and Keynsham Town "A" was postponed with Keynsham unable to raise a side and they will be the latest team from the division to be subject to a discipline charge.
Division One
There was a full schedule of five games played in Division One on Sunday with three sides looking to defend a perfect record in the league. Unfortunately for Malmesbury Vics their unblemished record was lost when they fell to a 2-1 away defeat against a much-improved Blunsdon side who for the second week running inflicted a defeat on a previously unbeaten opponent. Two goals from Lyndsey Plant secured the three points for Blunsdon, a tenth of the season from Emilee Collier in reply for Malmesbury Vics.
No such problem for FC Chippenham who made it four wins from four league games with a 6-3 home win over Bishops Cannings. Tyler Webb led the way helping herself to a hat-trick with further goals from Amy Totterdell, Ella Johnson and a third of the season from Lily Ayhan. On target for Bishops Cannings were Elsie Brewer with two and Lucy-Anne Skinner with her first league goal of the season to add to her hat-trick in the recent County Cup game against Stratton.
Salisbury had been struggling for a side earlier in the week and were forced to sign on a number of their U18 side in order to be able to fulfil the fixture against Ferndale Rodbourne. The youngsters stepped up in style to help Salisbury maintain their 100% winning record and move top of the table. Ferndale Rodbourne held Salisbury at bay until just before half time when Imogen Campbell broke the deadlock after good work from Jade Randall. Having made the breakthrough Salisbury went on to score five more times, Campbell scoring two more to register a hat-trick on her debut for the senior side, Brooke Nash another debut maker scored twice, with Danica Pomroy getting the other Salisbury goal.
Marlborough Town Reserves moved up to fifth place with a 3-1 win over Durrington who continue to show improvement after a couple of heavy defeats at the start of the season. Two goals from Daisy Cox and one from Kerry Ash secured the three points for Marlborough with Skyla Meli getting the Durrington goal.
Biggest winners of the day in the division were Staverton Rangers who registered their first win of the season in the process scoring 12 times against Purton Kingsdown Reserves who scored three goals of their own in a high scoring match. Maisie Harris led the way for Staverton scoring a double hat-trick with Sophie Barham, Darcy Bush, Evelyn Brewer, Hannah Higgs and Phoebe Vick all scoring one apiece with the other Staverton goal coming courtesy of an own goal. Lorna Newton with two and one from Maz Hobbs in reply for Purton Kingsdown Reserves.
Women's County Cup Second Round
This coming Sunday there is a break from league action with the Second Round of the Wiltshire FA Women’s County Cup and the First Round of the Plate competition for sides who played their game in Round One of the County Cup and were defeated.
In the main County Cup Salisbury have been given the toughest tie of the round with the Division One side being set to host cup holders Swindon Town, who are also the highest placed side in the competition. Melksham Town, Calne Town and Division One side Malmesbury Vics have all also been given tough games against Tier 6 sides from the South West Regional Women's League Division One North, Melksham are home to last season’s Wiltshire Senior League champions Bemerton Heath Harlequins, Calne Town are away to Royal Wootton Bassett Town whilst Malmesbury are set to host Corsham Town.
There are then three all Wiltshire Senior League Premier Division ties, FC Abbey Meads host Westbury Ladies, Purton Kingsdown will face current league leaders Marlborough Town whilst there will be a local derby between Swindon Supermarine and Highworth Town, who seem to keep drawing each other in these cup competitions. The final game sees Division One leaders Bishops Cannings away to Highworth Town U18s.

No Cup Upsets in Women's
County Cup Second Round
Wiltshire FA Women's County Cup
There was a break from league action last Sunday with the Second Round of the Wiltshire FA Women’s County Cup and the First Round of the Plate competition for sides who played their game in Round One of the County Cup and were defeated.
Four teams had been drawn against higher league opposition in the main County Cup with Salisbury having been given the toughest tie of the round with the Division One side up against cup holders Swindon Town, who are also the highest placed side in the competition playing at Tier 4, four levels higher than Salisbury. Swindon Town currently top Division One South West of the FA Women’s National League and remain unbeaten in the league although they fielded their development side who play in the Reserve South West Division of the National League in this round of the competition. Swindon proved too strong for Salisbury winning 14-0 but credit to Salisbury for fulfilling the fixture. Both Alana Couling and Antoinette Salaveria scored hat-tricks for Swindon in the big win.
Melksham Town were another side up against higher league opponents in the shape of last season’s champions of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League, Bemerton Heath Harlequins who now play in Division One North of the South West Regional Women’s League having been promoted at the end of last season. Once again there was to be no cup upset as Bemerton scored six without reply to progress to the last eight of the competition, two goals for both Hollie Keating and Caitlin Lower with further goals from Kyra Ward and Charlotte Eastman. Barbara and Alan Swan were at the game with their cameras and more of their excellent pictures can be found on the League Facebook Group page.
Calne Town were also up against opponents from the South West Regional Women’s League Division One North as they made the short journey along the A3102 to take on Royal Wootton Bassett Town. Again, the game very much went the way of the higher-level side. Calne did well in the first half to restrict their opponents to just four goals and scoring one of their own through Isobel Satchell. However, with tiring legs and playing against a strong wind in the second half, the home side scored seven more without reply to run out 11-1 winners. Maddy Elliott scored five of the Royal Wootton Bassett Town goals with further strikes from Hannah Gulliver, Laura Jefferies, Honor Faser, Amber Egerton, Kat Bach and Alice Telling.
Unfortunately, Division One side Malmesbury Victoria did not fulfill their fixture against Corsham Town, another side from the South West Regional Women’s League Division One North and picked up the standard £100 fine for withdrawing from the County Cup competition. So no cup upsets by teams from the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League but credit to Calne Town, Melksham Town and Salisbury for going head-to-head with their higher league opponents in this multi-league competition.
There were three all Wiltshire Senior League Premier Division ties. FC Abbey Meads were home to Westbury Ladies on the 3G at Moredon and safely made it through to the next round thanks to a 4-1 win. Both Amelia Fowles and Claire Moreton scored twice for FC Abbey Meads, with Rebecca Guy getting the Westbury reply. FC Abbey Meads will now be home to Bemerton Heath Harlequins in the quarter final with the game set to take place on Sunday 16th November.
Purton Kingsdown were up against Premier Division leaders Marlborough Town who they had lost 2-0 in the league in the second week of the season. Purton Kingsdown put in their best performance of the season to date to avenge that earlier defeat as goals from Steph Quince, Ellis Dyke and Charlotte Robinson secured a 3-1 victory, Daisy Cox with the Marlborough Town reply.
Purton Kingsdown will be up against Highworth Town U18 Girls in the quarter final. Highworth Town U18 Girls play in the Oxfordshire Girls League, where they are currently unbeaten, and made it through to the last eight with a 9-2 win over Division One side Bishops Cannings thanks to four goals from Isabella Cox, two from both Alicia Roberts and Leah Holder, with Ellie-Rose Perry getting the other Highworth U18 goal. The two goals for Bishops Cannings were both scored by Elsie Brewer.
Highworth Town U18 Girls will be joined by their adult side in the last eight after Highworth Town secured an 11-1 win over near neighbours and rivals Swindon Supermarine who continue to have something of an injury crisis and were only able to field nine players. There were hat-tricks for both Molly Joyce and Elsiana Wraight with further goals coming through Keely Corcoran, Abbie Blackmore, Stacey Radbourne, Kirsty Williams and Lucy March, Chantelle Bayliss with the consolation goal for Swindon Supermarine. Highworth Town will now be away to Royal Wootton Bassett Town in the quarter final. The final quarter final tie sees Corsham Town entertain Swindon Town.

Wiltshire FA Plate Competition
There were plenty of goals in the four ties played in the Plate County Cup competition for teams who had played and lost in the First Round of the main County Cup. Blunsdon edged a close game against Trowbridge Wanderers 4-3, Lyndsey Plant scoring all four Blunsdon goals with Jamie Lee Curtis, Jenna Sawyer and Tilly Dunnery all on target for Trowbridge Wanderers.
FC Chippenham from Division One are having a much better season this time around after last season's relegation and scored nine times against Premier Division side Barford Hornets, eventually winning 9-1. Lily Ayhan led the way scoring four times, Mary Murphy hit a hat-trick and there were two goals from Amy Totterdell, Kaelani Hayes with the consolation goal for Barford Hornets.
Division One side Stratton also scored nine against Ashton Keynes, winning 9-2 to make the last four of the competition. On target for Stratton were Katrina Reynolds with a hat-trick, Chloe Brown bagged a brace, with one apiece from Hayley Lawrence, Georgia Donley and Sophie Smyth, with an own goal completing the scoring for Stratton.
The final tie saw Staverton Rangers win 5-0 against Ferndale Rodbourne with Phoebe Vick scoring a hat-trick, with Bella Cousins and Hannah Higgs also getting on the score sheet. In the semi-final FC Chippenham will be home to Blunsdon and Stratton will host Staverton Rangers, with the games set to take place in the New Year.
There is a limited fixture schedule this coming Sunday with the commencement of the School half-term holiday with just a couple of games postponed earlier in the season being re-scheduled.

Perfect Records Maintained
In Ladies Premier Division
Ladies Premier Division
With it being the start of School Half Term in Wiltshire there were just two games played on Sunday across the two Ladies divisions of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League, with both games being in the Premier Division and were games that had been postponed earlier in the season. The two games saw both Marlborough Town and Keynsham Town “A” maintain their perfect record in league games played although Keynsham Town “A” are still yet to have their postponement against Swindon Supermarine reviewed by the Discipline Committee.
Marlborough Town made it six straight wins to start the season following last season’s promotion with a 6-2 away win over Barford Hornets. There were two goals for both Daisy Cox and Izzy Kirwan with Lily Wain and Rhiannon Williams getting the other two goals for Marlborough in their latest win. The two goals in reply for Barford Hornets were scored by Maelin Hayes and Emily Palmer.
Keynsham Town “A” also had a comfortable away win at Trowbridge Wanderers scoring seven unanswered goals to move second in the table. Tilly Welsford led the way scoring four times, Lola Kondorosi scored twice with Rose Thompson taking her tally for the season to five with the other Keynsham goal. Barbara and Alan Swan were at the game with their cameras and more of their excellent pictures can be found on the League Facebook Group page.

Sunday 2nd November 2025
Marlborough Lose For First Time,
Salisbury & FC Chippenham Win Again
Ladies Premier Division
There were just three games played in the Ladies Premier Division of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League last week as a result of Trowbridge Wanderers withdrawing from the league and the scheduled game between Highworth Town and Barford Hornets being postponed with Barford Hornets unable to raise a side.
The three games that went ahead saw league leaders Marlborough Town drop their first points of the season as they fell to a 4-0 defeat on the 3G at Moredon against FC Abbey Meads. Chloe Neate put FC Abbey Meads ahead on 21 minutes and Amelia Fowles then doubled FC Abbey Meads lead three minutes later. A third from Hayley Huckin nine minutes before the break put FC Abbey Meads in command by half time. An improved second half showing from Marlbough saw the game remain at 3-0 until 20 minutes from time when Claire Moreton added a fourth for FC Abbey Meads to round off a good afternoon for the Swindon based side as it finished 4-0. With the league table having now been adjusted for the withdrawal of Trowbridge Wanderers, Marlborough Town still have a five-point lead at the top of the table despite the defeat and FC Abbey Meads sit in fourth place, six points behind Marlborough but with two games in hand.
Melksham Town moved up into second spot after a 3-1 away win at Calne Town. A goal from Andrea Chludilova saw Melksham lead 1-0 at the break but second half goals from Nicholle Duncan and Eva Allison confirmed the Melksham victory, with Megan Hamill getting one in reply for Calne Town. Barbara and Alan Swan were at the game with their cameras and more of their excellent pictures can be found on the League Facebook Group page.
Keynsham Town "A" sit third in the table for now after a 3-0 home win over Purton Kingsdown despite ending the game with just ten players. First half goals from Kerry Bartlett and Gracie Reed saw Keynsham in a comfortable position at the break. However, ten minutes into the second half Mandy Hennessy was sent off leaving Keynsham to play the rest of the half with one player short. Despite the numerical disadvantage they added a third, Bartlett scoring her second of the game to make sure of the three points.
Division One
There was a full schedule of five games played in Division One and once again it saw the two unbeaten sides maintain their perfect records. Two goals from Nicole Webster and one from Katie Sell saw Salisbury defeat Staverton Rangers 3-0 to remain three points clear at the top of the table.
The other unbeaten side FC Chippenham climbed up to second spot with a hard fought 4-2 away win at Malmesbury Vics in a game switched to the Red Bull ground as a result of the previous days heavy rain during the men’s game at the Flying Monk. Two more goals for Lily Ayhan for FC Chippenham saw her take her total for the season to nine in all competitions, with the other two FC Chippenham goals coming through Charlotte Cook and Mary Murphy, Alice Allman and Laura Deacon with the two Malmesbury Vics goals.
Blunsdon were the biggest winners of the afternoon scoring ten times in a 10-3 away win at Purton Kingsdown Reserves. The division’s leading scorer Lyndsey Plant scored four of the Blunsdon goals to take her tally for the season to 15, Laura Gammon and Jody Nicholls both scored twice with Kirsty Gossage and an own goal completing the scoring for Blunsdon. In reply for Purton Kingsdown Reserves there were goals for Amy Goodchild, Hayley Shipp and a sixth of the season from Lorna Newton.
Improving Marlborough Town Reserves made it three wins in a row with a 3-0 home success over Ferndale Rodbourne thanks to two goals from Victoria Goldson and one from Kate Arekion.
The final game of the afternoon in the division saw Stratton pick up their second win of the season, two goals from Katrina Reynolds and one apiece for Sophie Smyth and Chloe Brown securing a 4-0 win over Durrington.

Sunday 9th November 2025
A Day Of Big Scores In
Premier Division & League Cup
Ladies Premier Division
The four games played in the Ladies Premier Division on Sunday saw 40 goals scored with two of the games being very much one-sided affairs. There was, however, a close encounter in the game at Oakfields between Melksham Town and Westbury Ladies. When the two sides had met at the start of the season it had been another close affair as the two sides fought out a 2-2 draw but there was to be a winner on this occasion in the return fixture, with Melksham Town taking all three points courtesy of a 1-0 win. The game was ultimately decided in Melksham’s favour by the narrowest of margins, an early own goal being all that separated the sides, as too evenly matched sides cancelled each other out for the rest of the game. The win for Melksham saw them move to within three points of league leaders Marlborough Town who were without a game following the withdrawal of Trowbridge Wanderers from the league.
Barbara and Alan Swan were at the game with their cameras and more of their excellent pictures can be found on the League Facebook Group page.
An improving Calne Town side picked up their second win of the season with a 4-1 away win at Highworth Town to climb one place in the table to sixth spot thanks to two goals from Milly Price and one from both Megan Godwin and Sophie Shine, Molly Joyce with the Highworth Town reply.
Keynsham Town “A” proved too strong for struggling Barford Hornets, scoring 19 without reply. Brooke Stirrup scored eight of the Keynsham Town goals, Lola Kondorosi hit five, both Jenna Bakehouse and Robyn Prince scored twice, with further goals from Lauren Gregory and Gracie Reed. Keynsham remain in third spot but with games in hand over the two sides above them in the table.
Last season the two local derby games between what was then Kingsdown and Swindon Supermarine had been tight affairs with both sides winning their respective home fixtures. That pattern of home wins continued in the first meeting between the sides this season, but this game at the Red House was to be another game that turned into a one-sided affair with Purton Kingsdown scoring 15 times without reply. Credit to the Swindon Supermarine side, who played the whole game with just ten players, for battling to the end but Purton Kingsdown were clinical in front of goal in registering the big win. Katrina Dias led the way scoring four of the Purton Kingsdown goals, Millie Loveday, Steph Quince, Amy Hards and Whitney Milhench all scored twice, with goals from Imogen Maguire, Amelia Sharp and Charlotte Robinsn completing the scoring.
League Cup
There were also several big scores in the Preliminary Round of the Ladies League Cup, this despite the Management Committee having given byes to ten of the eleven Premier Division sides with five of the six games played being all-Division One affairs. The one Premier Division side playing in the Preliminary Round, FC Abbey Meads, proved too strong for Purton Kingsdown Reserves scoring 21 unanswered goals highlighting the big difference in standard between the top of the Premier Division and Division One. There was a double hat-trick for Rebecca Wakley, Michelle Rich scored five, Summer Dennis scored four, Hannah Attewell registered a hat-trick, Chloe Neate scored twice with Millie Swift getting the other goal. Credit to the Purton Kingsdown players for playing the game rather than conceding the tie as some might have done in the circumstances, and they can go forward in the knowledge that they will not play such a strong side again this season. FC Abbey Meads will be away to fellow Premier Division side Highworth Town in the next round.
Although all the other ties were all-Division One affairs, there were still another 40 goals scored in the five games. Malmesbury Victoria had won 13-0 earlier in the season in the league against Durrington and the south Wiltshire side had another difficult afternoon in the north of the county in their Preliminary Round tie as Malmesbury ran out 18-0 winners on a heavy pitch at the Flying Monk ground to make it through to the last 16. Leading scorer Emilee Collier added four more to her total, Rhianon Stidever, Lisa Lane and Karma Kabbani all scored hat-tricks, Laura Deacon added two more to her tally for the season with Amberlie Miller and Karen Marshall also amongst the goals. Malmesbury’s reward for the win is another home tie, this time against Premier Division opposition in the shape of Keynsham Town A.
When Salisbury had met Stratton in Swindon in the league earlier in the season, they had returned home with all three points following a 4-0 win. They had a more comfortable afternoon in completing a league and cup double over Stratton scoring nine goals without reply. Leading scorer Nicole Webster led the way adding four more to her total to take her tally for the season to 14, the rest of the goals were shared around the team with Samantha Deacon, Angela Collins, Lucy Pearson-Motley and Melissa Penn all scoring one apiece with the final goal in the 9-0 win coming courtesy of an own goal. Salisbury will now be home to fellow Division One side Blunsdon in the next round. FC Chippenham were another side who carried their good league form into the cup competition and were a third side completing a league and cup double, with Bishops Cannings their victims. Having won 6-3 in the league there was this time a four-goal margin of victory, a hat-trick from leading scorer Lily Aylan plus further goals from Amy Totterdell and Mollie Cavaciuti securing the a 5-1 win, Lucy-Anne Skinner with the consolation goal for Bishops Cannings. The win effectively sees FC Chippenham through to the quarter final as they had been drawn against Trowbridge Wanderers in the next round and will consequently now get a bye as a result of Trowbridge withdrawing from the league. Clive Downing was at the game with his camera and more of his excellent photos can be accessed by using this LINK.
Blunsdon were yet another side completing a league and cup double on Sunday having won 4-0 on their last visit to Staverton Rangers, they repeated that scoreline on Sunday thanks to two goals from Laura Gammon and one each from Jody Nicholls and Danielle Tuck. As noted earlier, they will be away to fellow Division One side Salisbury in the next round.
The final tie of the Preliminary Round saw two teams who had met in the league the week before, Marlborough Town Reserves and Ferndale Rodbourne up against each other. In the league encounter at Marlborough the home side had run out 3-0 winners and they repeated that score line for a second consecutive week, two goals from Daisy Cox and one from Kerry Ash securing the cup win. Marlborough Town Reserves will be home to Premier Division side Barford Hornets in the next round. Full details of the draw for the First Round and the Preliminary Round results are shown below:

Sunday 16th November 2025
Restricted Schedule
Due To County Cup
Ladies Premier Division
Due to County Cup ties, there were just two league fixtures this week in the Ladies’ Premier Division. Marlborough Town increased their lead at the top with an 11-0 win over Barford Hornets. In the other game, Westbury and Calne Town fought out a 3-3 draw.
In the County Cup, FC Abbey Meads lost 1-0 to Bemerton Heath Harlequins, who play a level above in the Southern Regional League. Highworth Town went down 11-0 to Royal Wootton Bassett Town, who also play one level above in the South West Regional League. Keynsham Town had a walkover win over Cheddar.
Barbara and Alan Swan were at the game between Westbury and Calne Town with their cameras and more of their excellent pictures can be found on the League Facebook Group page.
Division One
In Division 1, Salisbury maintained their lead at the top and their 100% record with a 6-3 win at Bishop’s Cannings. FC Chippenham are second and also have a 100% record following their 11-2 defeat of Marlborough Town Res. Malmesbury Victoria are in third place and defeated Purton Kingsdown Res 12-0 today. Blunsdon remain in fourth place after their 2-2 draw with Stratton. The remaining fixture saw Staverton Rangers pick up their second victory with a 4-0 win at Durrington.

Sunday 23rd November 2025
Keynsham & Salisbury Win
Top Of The Table Clashes
Ladies Premier Division
The postponement of the Wiltshire County Cup Quarter Final between Purton Kingsdown and Highworth Town U18s the previous week saw two Premier Division fixtures postponed once the Wiltshire FA finally confirmed late on Thursday that the game would be scheduled for Sunday exactly in accordance with Wiltshire FA rules, rather than the following week when neither Purton Kingsdown nor Highworth Town Ladies first team had a game. This meant both FC Abbey Meads and Westbury Ladies saw their games postponed late on through no fault of their own. Ironically the cup game on Sunday was then again postponed due to the pitch at Highworth getting cut up the previous day in the Uhlsport Hellenic League fixture between Highworth Town and Corsham Town. The outstanding cup quarter final has now been rearranged for this coming Sunday at Green Lane at least guaranteeing that the weather should not cause another postponement given the 3G surface.
This meant that just three games were played in the Premier Division with the big match at the top of the table being the meeting of Keynsham Town A and Marlborough Town. It would prove to be a close encounter at Keynsham with the home side eventually edging it 2-1 thanks to goals from Kerry Bartlett and Lola Kondorosi, Izzy Kirwan with the Marlborough Town goal.
Calne Town picked up their third win of the season to move up to fifth spot, defeating visitors Barford Hornets 5-2. There were two goals for both Sophie Shine and Isobel Satchall, with Ellie Hamill getting the other Calne Town goal, Molly McCarthy and Georgi Bavister with the reply for Barford Hornets.
Melksham Town recorded their biggest league win of the season, matching the 12-0 scoreline they had achieved in their cup game against Division One side FC Chippenham. This latest win was against Swindon Supermarine who, despite the heavy defeat, fielded a full complement of players for the first time in a while, which is encouraging. There were hat-tricks for both India Mulliss and Ella King, Rebecca Kench bagged a brace with further goals from Imogen Bailey, Izzy McGuiness, Nicholle Duncan and Andrea Chludilova. The win for Melksham saw them move to win two points of leaders Marlborough Town.
Barbara and Alan Swan were at the game between Melksham Town and Swindon Supermarine with their cameras and more of their excellent pictures can be found on the League Facebook Group page.
Division One
There were four games played in Division One with the Durrington v Ferndale Rodbourne game postponed due to a waterlogged pitch but has been quickly rearranged for December 7th when neither side had a game due to no longer being in the League Cup.
In the games that were played Salisbury made it eight wins in eight with a 2-0 home win over the other side who went into the weekend with a perfect record, FC Chippenham. Goals from Angela Collins and Ellie Tompkins gave Salisbury the vital win which saw them move six points clear of their beaten opponents, although FC Chippenham have a game in hand.
Blunsdon moved above Malmesbury Vics into third spot with a narrow 2-1 away win at Marlborough Town Reserves thanks to goals from Laura Gammon and Jody Nicholls, Rhianna Williams with the reply for the home side.
There was a high-scoring game between Purton Kingsdown Reserves and Bishops Cannings at Kingsdown School with Bishops Cannings returning home with all three points in the bag following an 8-3 win. Elsie Brewer and Lily Taylor led the way, both scoring twice, with further goals from Georgia Brown, Paige Brazier and Lucy-Anne Skinner with the other goal coming courtesy of an own goal.
The final game of the week saw Staverton Rangers win 5-0 against Stratton, Maisie Harris getting four of the goals and Hannah Higgs getting the other Staverton goal.

Sunday 30th November

FC Chippenham Return To Winning Ways
The weather accounted for three fixtures in the Ladies' Divisions this afternoon with the games at Barford Hornets (v FC Abbey Meads), Swindon Supermarine (v Westbury) and Blunsdon (v Salisbury) all falling victim.
Ladies Premier Division
In the Premier Division, leaders Marlborough Town were held to a 1-1 draw at Calne Town, but remain top. Second placed Melksham Town lost 5-2 at home to Keynsham Town A. They remain in runners up position, but will be wary of the chasing pack who have games in hand.
In the Wiltshire FA County Cup, Purton Kingsdown exited the competition, going down 3-1 to Highworth Town U18's.
Division One
In Division 1,
FC Chippenham
are in second spot after a 5-1 home win over Purton Kingsdown Res. Just behind are

Cup Washout With Just
One Game Played
Ladies League Cup First Round
Sunday was scheduled to be the First Round of the Ladies League Cup with seven ties scheduled but in the end just one game was played with one game also being awarded due to Barford Hornets being unable to raise a side for their away tie at Marlborough Town Reserves. The heavy rain of the weekend saw five of the scheduled ties postponed due to waterlogged pitches.
It would prove to be a good afternoon for the Marlborough club as their first team joined the reserves in the last eight of the cup competition thanks to a 2-0 away win over Calne Town in the all-Premier Division tie at Beversbrook. Both Kitty Bevan and Elyssia O'Keeffe came off the substitute bench to score the goals that saw Marlborough safely through to the next round. Alan and Barbara Swan were at the game and more of their pictures can be seen on the League Facebook Group Page.
All the postponed cup games have now been rearranged with one scheduled for next Sunday and with the remaining four ties set to take place in the New Year.
Division One
All three scheduled games in Division 1 were postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

Sunday 14th December 2025
Keynsham Town "A" & Salisbury
Maintain Winning Records
Premier Division
The last Sunday before the Christmas break saw just two games played in the Ladies Premier Division. The good news was that the two games featured three of the teams who are behind with their fixtures, allowing them to catch up a little bit on the sides who are now into the second half of their league season. All teams were originally scheduled to have completed 11 games by now but in the worst performing division in terms of playing games of all the seven divisions across the four different categories in the league, the highest number of games played is ten with three teams having achieved that figure. Some of the lost games are down to progress in the County Cup competitions but that impact should now be minimal moving into the second half of the season, but a couple of teams are going to have a busy second half to the season.
Keynsham Town “A” reinforced their championship credentials with an impressive 7-0 away win at Highworth Town to make it eight straight wins in eight games, although the points deduction they suffered for failing to fulfil a fixture means they remain a point behind league leaders Marlborough Town. Against Highworth Tia Mahadeven led the way for Keynsham scoring a hat-trick with further goals from Harriet Walker, Lauren Wylie, Tamzin Dunne and Olivia Bees.
Another side expected to be challenging for the league title come the end of the season are FC Abbey Meads and they made it five wins in six games with a 4-2 away win at Calne Town. It was very much the Hayley Huckin show with the FC Abbey Meads striker scoring all four goals for the visitors. The two Calne goals in reply were scored by Ellie Hamill and Isobel Satchell. FC Abbey Meads only defeat so far came at the hands of Keynsham Town “A” in the opening game of the season who they are set to meet in the return fixture which is the first game in the new calendar year for the two sides and could go a long way to deciding the destination of the league title. Alan and Barbara Swan were at the game and more of their pictures can be seen on the League Facebook Group Page.
Division One
It was a much better afternoon in terms of getting games played in Division One with just the one game postponed. The top game of the day was at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium where Salisbury were looking to maintain their perfect start to the league season against Malmesbury Vics who started the afternoon in third place in the table. It would prove to be the closest game of the afternoon, but it was mission accomplished for David Sawyer’s side as a fourth goal of the season from Angela Collins and an own goal saw Salisbury win 2-0 to make it nine wins from nine games to go into the New Year top of the table with a perfect league record. Results elsewhere meant Malmesbury dropped to fourth place.
Second in the table FC Chippenham picked up their eighth win in nine games with a comfortable 8-0 away win over Stratton. It was perfect symmetry for FC Chippenham as they scored four goals in each half with both Lily Ayhan and Amy Totterdell both scoring four times, two in each half for the FC Chippenham leading scorers. That is now 20 goals for Ayhan and 16 for Totterdell in all competitions.
Blunsdon moved above Malmesbury Vics into third spot in the table with a 7-0 away win at Durrington with three more for Lyndsey Plant taking her total for the campaign to 18, Danielle Tuck bagged a brace with the other two goals coming through Jody Nicholls and Kirsty Gossage.
The final game of the weekend was something of a goal fest with Marlborough Town Reserves and Bishops Cannings scoring 16 times between them with Marlborough claiming all three points courtesy of an 11-5 win. Both Kitty Bevan and Izzy Kirwan scored four for the home side, Daisy Cox scored twice with Rhiannon Williams getting the other Marlborough goal. The five goals in reply from Bishops Cannings came through a Georgia Brown hat-trick, Elsie Brewer and Caroline Ferris. The win for Marlborough Town Reserves saw them climb up into sixth spot in the table.

Sunday 4th January 2026
Keynsham Go Top in Prem
As Just Four Games Played
Despite the bitterly cold weather, four games in the Ladies’ Divisions went ahead on the first Sunday in January, two in each Division.
Premier Division
The big match in the Premier Division saw Keynsham Town "A" go top of the table for the first time with a 3-1 home win over FC Abbey Meads. Two goals from Tia Mahadevan and one Gracie Reed securing the points for Keynsham, Amelia Fowles with the FC Abbey Meads goal.
Westbury Ladies remain in eighth position despite a fine 6-1 victory away at Calne Town. Rebecca Guy and Chloe Harkness both scored twice with further goals from Naomi Tippetts and Alice Bevan, the Calne reply coming courtesy of an own goal. Swindon Supermarine Derby Day Joy,
FC Chippenham Make County Cup Final
Roundup provided by Lacey Chivers-Hickton
Premier Division
A challenging week of winter weather meant only one fixture went ahead in the Ladies Premier Division, but it certainly delivered the drama. Swindon Supermarine FC Ladies edged out Highworth Town FC Ladies in a closely fought contest, securing a 2–1 victory and claiming their second win of the season. Despite the conditions, both sides put on a committed display, with Supermarine showing real resilience to take all three points.
Unfortunately, the rest of the division fell victim to either the weather or teams unable to raise a side. Fixtures between Melksham Town FC Ladies and Marlborough Town FC Ladies, and Westbury Ladies FC and FC Abbeymeads Ladies were all postponed due to waterlogged pitches and ongoing poor weather conditions. The game between Purton Kingsdown FC Ladies and Barford Hornets FC Ladies was postponed with Barford Hornets unable to raise a side to travel to Swindon.
Cup action was also similarly affected. In the Somerset FA Women’s Junior Cup, the tie between Keynsham Town FC Ladies and Porlock Ladies First was called off early in the week. With Porlock unable to raise a side, Keynsham were awarded a home walkover and progress to the next round.
This coming week's scheduled in the Ladies Premier Division see Highworth town host Westbury, Marlborough to play FC Abbeymeads, and Calne travel to Salisbury to play Barford Hornets.
Division One side Malmesbury Victoria host top of the Premier Division, Keynsham, in the Ladies League Cup, and Swindon Supermarine look to keep battling this week as they take on Purton Kingsdown at home.
Division One
Division One delivered goals, shocks, and standout performances this week, with two away sides putting on dominant displays. Malmesbury Victoria FC Women impressed with a clinical 7–1 win at Durrington FC Ladies, while Bishops Cannings FC Ladies matched that energy, hitting eight on the road in their 8–1 victory over Ferndale Rodbourne FC Ladies.
At the other end of the spectrum, Marlborough Town Ladies Reserves produced one of the results of the day. Hosting league leaders Salisbury FC Ladies, they battled to a hard‑earned 2–1 win, showing real grit to take all three points against the division’s front-runners.
This coming Sunday in Ladies Division One sees Bishops Cannings to play Marlborough Reserves with a 1:30pm kick-off, FC Chippenham with a chance to go second as they host Durrington, and Ferndale look to bounce back this week against Purton Kingsdown at 3:30pm.

FC Abbey Meads & Purton Kingsdown
Go Through to Cup Semi Final
League Cup
There were two games played in the League Cup last Sunday and both games saw Premier Division sides up against Division One opponents. Both games went the way of the Premier Division sides, although one was a comfortable victory and the other a much tighter affair. Division One leaders Salisbury entertained promotion chasing FC Abbey Meads looking to cause a cup upset, but FC Abbey Meads proved to be too strong for their Division One opponents with striker Hayley Huckin scoring four times with further goals from Michelle Rich and Emma Skinner.
It was a much tighter affair between Purton Kingsdown and Marlborough Town Reserves with the Premier Division side Purton Kingsdown eventually edging it by the odd goal in seven. There were two goals for Evie O’Rouke and one apiece for Amy Hards and Stephanie Quince. Full details of the League Cup so far this season ahead of Melksham Town's midweek quarter final tie against FC Chippenham is as follows:

Premier Division
There were four games played in the Premier Division in what was the busiest Sunday of the calendar year so far. The big game at the top of the table was between leaders Marlborough Town and second placed Keynsham Town. Whilst Marlborough started the day eight points clear at the top, they had played five more games than Keynsham and probably needed to defeat their unbeaten opponents if they were to have a realistic chance of lifting the title having already dropped ten points. It proved to be a comfortable afternoon for title favourites Keynsham Town as two goals from both Rose Thompson and Harriett Walker plus one apiece for Lola Kondoroski and Tily Welsford secured a 6-0 away win that saw Keynsham reduce the gap at the top to just five points with those five games in hand.
There was a close encounter between fourth placed Melksham Town and Calne Town which in the end was decided in Melksham’s favour by a solitary strike from Imogen Bailey. The win for Melksham saw them move to within three points of FC Abbey Meads having played one more game than the third placed side. Alan and Barbara Swan were at the game with their cameras and more of their pictures can be found on the League Facebook Group Page.
Division One
With Salisbury in cup action, second placed FC Chippenham had the chance to close the gap at the top of the table if they could defeat Malmesbury Vics. Hat-tricks from Mary Murphy and Amy Totterdell helped FC Chippenham to 9-4 win in a high scoring game, Lily Ayhan with two and Ella Johnson with the other Chippenham goals. Emilee Collier scored twice for visitors Malmesbury with Laura Deacon and Rhianon Stidever also on target.
Two goals from Lyndsey Plant and one from Danille Tuck gave Blunsdon a 3-0 home win over Purton Kingsdown Reserves.
Elsewhere Stratton won 4-2 away at Durrington with Chloe Brown scoring a hat-trick for the visitors, whilst Staverton Rangers won 2-1 at home against Ferndale Rodbourne.

Roundup prepared by Lacey Chivers-Hickton
Premier Division
The latest fixtures in the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League Ladies Premier Division again brought a mix of competitive action and postponements across the previous fortnight.
On Sunday 15th March Purton Kingsdown had picked up a 5-1 win away at Highworth Town as the two sides played catch-up with their fixtures to register their fifth win of the season.
Last Sunday with cup action there was just one league game played, with one fixture falling victim to postponement and two sides booking their place in the Ladies League Cup final. Highworth Town’s clash with Barford Hornets was unfortunately called off by Barford Hornets, leaving just one league fixture to complete. That fixture saw Swindon Supermarine edge out Calne Town in a tight 2–1 victory to strengthen their position at the bottom end of the table heading into the final weeks of the season.
Ladies League Cup
In the Ladies League Cup, FC Abbey Meads produced a strong 4–1 performance against Purton Kingsdown to secure their spot in the final which is set to be held at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground, home of Royal Wootton Bassett Town, on Sunday 12th April. However, their opponents in the final are still to be confirmed with the second semi final subject to a discipline charge.
Whilst Keynsham Town delivered an impressive 4–0 win over Melksham Town they have been charged been the League with playing ineligible players and the discipline process remains in progress.
Somerset Junior Cup
The previous week Keynsham Town had again been in semi-final cup action in the Somerset Junior Cup but they exited that competition, losing 3-1 at home to Tier 6 side Weston Super Mare from the South West Regional Women's League.

Yet More Postponements in Ladies Prem,
FC Chippenham Go Top in Div 1
Premier Division
Frustratingly there were once again games postponed in the Ladies Premier Division as Barford Hornets failed to raise a side for the sixth time this season and Swindon Supermarine also were unable to raise a side for the second time this season against one of the stronger sides in the division, this despite having 31 players registered. At Thursday’s Discipline Meeting, with the seaosn now in its final month, it was agreed that no further fixtures would be scheduled for Barford Hornets, as they are just wasting everybody’s time and causing massive frustration with their scheduled opponents each week, and their record will be expunged in due course.
The two games that did get played saw FC Abbey Meads close the gap to the top two with a 4-1 win away at Westbury Ladies with both Michelle Rich and Millie Swift scoring twice for the visitors, Alice Bevan getting the Westbury goal.
Melksham Town returned to winning ways with an 11-1 home success over struggling
Highworth Town. Andrea Chlidilova led the way scoring four of the Melksham goals, India Mulliss hit a hat-trick, Lily Bateman scored twice with Isabella Green and Sarah Ward getting the other two goals.
Alan and Barbara Swan were at the Westbury Ladies v FC Abbey Meads game with their cameras and more of their pictures can be found on the League Facebook Group Page.
Division One
No such problems in Division One where all five scheduled games once again got played. With Salisbury Ladies without a game FC Chippenham had the chance to move top of the table on goal difference with a win over Ferndale Rodbourne. They did just that as hat-tricks from Lily Ayhan and Ella Johnson helped them to a big 11-0 win, improving their goal difference further. The other goals came through Ella Johnson and Amy Totterdell, who both scored twice, and Tyler Webb.
When Marlborough Town Reserves and Malmesbury Vics had met at the start of the season, Malmesbury had edged a close nine-goal game by the odd goal. There were again plenty of goals again in the return fixture, but this time Marlborough continued their recent good form winning 8-2. Kitty Bevan led the way scoring a hat-trick to move onto 20 goals in the Division for the season, with Daisy Cox also taking her total to 20 with a brace, the other three Marlborough goals coming from Phoebe Smith, Philippa Wain and Rhianon Williams, Alice Allman and Laura Deacon with the Malmesbury goals. Results elsewhere meant that despite the defeat Malmesbury remained in third spot.
Blunsdon were unable to take advantage of that Malmesbury loss as they fell to a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Staverton Rangers, Hollie-Mai Greenland with both Staverton goals.
Bishops Cannings recorded their ninth win of the season with a 4-1 home success over Durrington. Lily Taylor scored twice for the home side with further goals from Georgia Brown and Lucy-Anne Skinner, Lauren Baggot with the Durrington reply from the penalty spot.
Purton Kingsdown Reserves registered their second win of the season s two goals from Lorna Newton gave them a 2-1 win away at Stratton, with Katy Farr getting the Stratton goal.

Changes have also consequently had to be made to the remaining fixtures in the Ladies Premier Division as a result of this and also the Barford Hornets situation.

Premier Division
League champions
Keynsham Town A rounded off a perfect league season with their 16th win of the campaign on Sunday. It was a tight affair in the first half in their game with
Westbury Ladies with Keynsham going into the half time break with a slender 2-1 lead. However, they upped the tempo after the break scoring eight unanswered goals to run out 10-1 winners. On target for Keynsham were Alaiya Beale with a hat-trick, Freya Mist and Jenna Bakehouse both scored twice, with further goals from Lola Kondorosi, Freya Dorey and an own goal, Danielle Dakin-Weston with the Westbury goal. The second half showing was a performance worthy of champions — dominant, and full of attacking quality. When the final whistle blew across the division, it was Keynsham Town who stood deservedly at the top, winning the Premier Division championship after a great season that saw them go unbeaten all season on the pitch. After the game the Keynsham players were presented with their league medals and the cup for winning the Premier Division by League Chairman Brian Busson. Mark Smedley was at the game with his camera and more of his pictures can be found on the
League Facebook Group Page.
There was one more game in the Premier Division on Sunday to complete the league season and it saw beaten cup finalists Melksham Town end their season on a winning note with a 5-2 win over Swindon Supermarine. India Mulliss led the way scoring a hat-trick for Melksham, Lily Bateman and Isabella Green with the other two Melksham goals. Amy Thomson scored both the Swindon Supermarine goals.
Earlier in the week runners-up
FC Abbey Meads Ladies collected three points via a walkover against
Highworth Town, FC Abbey Meads finishing the season five points behind champions Keynsham Town A but eight points ahead of third placed Marlborough Town. Both Keynsham Town and FC Abbey Meads have applied for promotion to Tier 6 of the Women's National League System and they both now await to hear from the FA whether they have been successful with their applications.
Division One
Division One delivered its own share of drama as FC Chippenham Youth Ladies completed a brilliant title‑winning week. They opened with a seven goal midweek away win at Staverton Rangers to secure the league title, Tyler Webb getting four goals in a 7-1 win in what was a good week for the FC Chippenham striker having scored a hat-trick the previous Sunday. The other FC Chippenham goals in midweek were scored by Mary Murphy, Jasmine Wilkins and Lilly Ayhan, Bella Cousins with the consolation goal for Staverton.
FC Chippenham were awarded with their medals and League One title winning trophy on Sunday ahead of their final league fixture against Marlborough Town Reserves. League Chairman Brian Busson carrying out the presentation ahead of the game with Marlborough before traveling to Keynsham for the Premier Division presentation. FC Chippenham, like Premier Division Champions Keynsham, also ended their season on a winning note with a narrow 3-2 win thanks to goals from Ella Johnson, Mollie Cavaciuti and Lily Ayhan, Emily Fielder with the two goals for Marlborough Town Reserves.
With runners-up spot already secured
Salisbury fell to a surprise 2-1 defeat away at
Staverton Rangers, the Staverton goals coming from Darcy Bush and Rebecca Kench, Stacey Fogerty with the Salisbury goal.
The final round of fixtures also saw
Stratton beat
Ferndale Rodboune 2-0 in a local derby thanks to second half goals from Katrina Reynolds and Kiera Bolton-Weston.
With honours already won, the big story on the final day was
Durrington winning their first game of the season, that victory coming away at
Purton Kingsdown Reserves in their final game of the season. Skyla Meli was the star of the show for Durrington getting all four goals in a 4-2 win, Brooke Braithwaite getting both Purton Kingsdown goals in reply.
However, whilst Durrington were the headline makers on the final Sunday of the season the spotlight belongs to FC Chippenham Youth Ladies, who end the campaign as Division One champions, wrapping up their season with quality, consistency and a champion’s mentality. Alan and Barbara Swan were at their final game at Marlborough Town Reserves with their cameras and more of their excellent pictures can be found on the League Facebook Group Page.
