The top game in the U18 Floodlight Division of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League last week was the meeting on Thursday night between the top two at the start of the week, Swindon Supermarine and Calne Town. Supermarine went into the game unbeaten in their opening six league fixtures, whilst Calne Town had lost their opening game of the season but then proceeded to win their next five to sit just one point behind the leaders ahead of the meeting of the two sides. It was to prove to be Swindon Supermarine’s night as two goals from Alfie Telling and one from Liam Clark saw them secure a 3-1 win to extend their lead at the top of the table to four points with both sides having played seven games, Harrison Pierce with the Calne Town goal.

Bishops Cannings moved up to joint second in the table with a 2-1 away win at Gillingham Town thanks to a sixth goal of the season from Jack Spanswick and one from Thomas Thomas, Harry Todd with the Gillingham goal.

The weeks action had got underway on Monday night with games at Kintbury and Green Lane Devizes with the two games producing plenty of goals.
