Due To County Cup

Ladies Premier Division


Due to County Cup ties, there were just two league fixtures this week in the Ladies’ Premier Division. Marlborough Town increased their lead at the top with an 11-0 win over Barford Hornets. In the other game, Westbury and Calne Town fought out a 3-3 draw.


In the County Cup, FC Abbey Meads lost 1-0 to Bemerton Heath Harlequins, who play a level above in the Southern Regional League. Highworth Town went down 11-0 to Royal Wootton Bassett Town, who also play one level above in the South West Regional League. Keynsham Town had a walkover win over Cheddar.

Division One


In Division 1, Salisbury maintained their lead at the top and their 100% record with a 6-3 win at Bishop’s Cannings. FC Chippenham are second and also have a 100% record following their 11-2 defeat of Marlborough Town Res. Malmesbury Victoria are in third place and defeated Purton Kingsdown Res 12-0 today. Blunsdon remain in fourth place after their 2-2 draw with Stratton. The remaining fixture saw Staverton Rangers pick up their second victory with a 4-0 win at Durrington.
