Premier Division


FC Abbeymeads Ladies delivered a dominant performance in challenging wet conditions, producing a stunning 7–0 victory over Swindon Supermarine. Their attacking intensity never dipped, and the result keeps them firmly in the hunt as the season progresses.


Marlborough Town continued their impressive form with a 4–2 win against Westbury Ladies. The result pushes them to the top of the table, showcasing their consistency and resilience as the league enters a crucial phase.


Elsewhere, adverse pitch conditions forced the postponement of two fixtures: Highworth Town vs Purton Kingsdown and Barford Hornets vs Melksham Town. Both matches have already been rescheduled.

 

This coming week's scheduled fixtures in the Ladies Premier Division see FC Abbeymeads  host Calne Town, and Westbury travel to Highworth in the wet weather. We also have a top of the table clash this week featuring Marlborough Town and Keynsham Town.


In the league Cup, we see Melksham play Division One side FC Chippenham, and Purton Kingsdown play in another local derby game against Swindon Supermarine.

Division One


Malmesbury Victoria edged a dramatic nine-goal contest, securing a 5–4 victory over Ferndale Rodbourne  to move up into second place. Their attacking quality proved decisive in a game that swung back and forth throughout.


Salisbury FC Ladies have climbed to the top of the table after a commanding 6–0 win against Bishops Cannings. Their dominance at both ends of the pitch continues to set the standard in Division One.


Two fixtures fell victim to the weather, with
FC Chippenham Youth vs Blunsdon and Purton Kingsdown Reserves vs Durrington both postponed due to pitch conditions.


In the Wiltshire County FA Women’s Plate, the long-awaited semi-final between Staverton Rangers and Stratton finally went ahead. Staverton Rangers booked their place in the final with an impressive 3–0 win, showing composure and control throughout.


Ladies Division One action this week sees Blunsdon FC versus Bishops Cannings, Durrington are home to top of the league Salisbury in a game that has been switched to a 3G pitch at Larkhill Camp, Staverton Rangers host Malmesbury Victoria FC who currently sit second in the table, and Stratton FC are set to play Marlborough Town Reserves.


In the Ladies League Cup, FC Chippenham have that trip to Premier Division side, Melksham Town, as they seek to progress the next round.
