Corsham Print
Wiltshire Senior League
 Under 18 Floodlight Division
Roundup W/C 2 February

Once again the wet weather had a major impact on the fixture schedule in the Under 18 Floodlight Division of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League with all four games scheduled to be on grass pitches being postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

In the end just the two games on 3G pitches went ahead. On Monday night at Green Lane Wims 11, who are behind with their fixtures, continued their recent good run winning their sixth straight game, winning 3-1 away at Bishops Cannings. Two goals from Omaree Cox, taking him onto 12 for the season, and one from Heiko Skeete secured the three points for Wims, Bishops Cannings getting their goal from the penalty spot through Jack Spanswick with his tenth goal of the season.

On Thursday night Swindon Supermarine were playing their penultimate home league game of the season, and it was to be another successful night for the league leaders, although they were made to work hard for the three points by Gillingham Town. Goals from Anthony Gianni and a 26th goal of the season from the division’s leading scorer Alfie Telling saw Supermarine win 2-1, Daniel Yeatman with the Gillingham goal. The win for Supermarine saw them open up an eight-point lead at the top of the table but they have played more games than all the four sides immediately below them in the table.
