Club History
 The club was formed in 1945 as Pewsey Y. M. but changed its name to Pewsey Vale F.C. in 1948. As Pewsey Y M, the club were able to enter the FA Cup for a few seasons just after World War II, but never progressed past the First Qualifying Round.

Pewsey YM played in the Wiltshire League in the first season after the Second World War finishing in a creditable sixth place in that first post war season. A midtable finish in Season 1946-47 the following season had also seen Pewsey make the final of the prestigious Wiltshire Senior Cup, losing to Swindon GWR Corinthians in the final. A midtable finish in Season 1946-47 was bettered the following season when Pewsey pushed Purton and Swindon Corinthians all the way, Pewsey eventually finishing as runners-up to Purton, a point ahead of Corinthians in third spot. 

Pewsey took out a lease on part of the villages Recreation Ground in 1950 and Pewsey’s first team remained in Division One of the Wiltshire League as the new decade dawned and they were joined by their Reserves in season 1951-52 who joined the then Division 2, both sides finishing midtable that season. When the Wiltshire League formed a dedicated reserve team division in Season 1953-54 the reserve team joined that division. Throughout the rest of the decade both sides tended to struggle at the wrong end of the table. The 1960s and early 1970s saw both sides remain in the Wiltshire League, with neither side becoming members of the Wiltshire Combination League which came into being in Season 1968-69 and neither side achieving much by way of success in their respective divisions.
The formation of the Wiltshire County League in Season 1976-77 saw both the first team and reserves become members of the new league, the first team in Division 2 and the reserve side in the Junior Divisions. A third place finish in that first season saw the first team promoted to Division 1 but they spent just one season in the top division, being relegated back to Division 2 the following season and were to remain in that division until being promoted back to Division 1 at the end of Season 1984-85. During this period a permanent clubhouse was built, unaided by grants this was mainly achieved through the generosity of several local businesses. The reserves meanwhile remained in Division 4 of the Junior section throughout this period but made it a double promotion for the club in that Season 1984-85 when a 4th place finish saw them elevated to Division 3. The reserves remained in Division 3 for the following eight seasons, finishing 5th on three occasions during that period. 

The first team meanwhile held their own in Division One and after a number of seasons of steady progress were crowned champions in Season 1989-90. In a very successful season for the club the first team also made the final of the Wiltshire Senior Cup for the second time, losing in the final to Swindon Athletic. They were not to be denied getting their hands on the trophy for the first time for very long though as the same two sides made the final again the following season and this time the result was reversed with Pewsey defeating Swindon Athletic. The first team remained in the top half of Division One and a 3rd place finish in Season 1991-92 was bettered the following season as they took the Division One title for the second time in Season 1992-93 and achieved promotion to the Western League.

The first team remained in the Western League for eight seasons, before switching to the Hellenic League in Season 2000-01 where they had immediate success, finishing as runners-up in Division One West to Hook Norton to gain promotion to the Premier Division. The ground was substantially improved with the help of FA grants in the close season of 2002 to meet Hellenic Premier League standards. This included floodlighting, undercover seating for 50 people and hardstanding all-round the perimeter of the playing area. They found the going tough in the Premier and after three seasons at the bottom end of the table were relegated back to Division One West at the end of Season 2004-5. They dropped back down to the Wiltshire league in Season 2009-10 and after a good season back in the Wiltshire League, lifted the Corsham Print Senior Knockout Cup, defeating Westbury United Reserves in the final. In Season 2010-11 they returned back to Step 6 of the National League System, this time joining the Wessex League where they stayed for seven seasons before a two season switch back to the Hellenic as part of the FA’s National League System lateral moves. Season 2019-20 sees them back in the Wessex. Whilst in the Hellenic League they won the Wiltshire Senior Cup for the second time in Season 1999-2000 having been beaten finalists the season before. They again made the final in 2001-02, their last appearance in a final, where they were defeated by Malmesbury Victoria.

When the first team moved up to the Western League the reserve side were able to move up to the Senior divisions of the Wiltshire League where they have generally remained since Season 1993-94. The first season at the new level saw the Reserve Team promoted at the first attempt. Apart from three seasons back at the second tier they have remained in the top division of the league, in what is now the Premier Division. The side now re-branded the Development Team, generally finished in the lower half of the table, with the highest position being a 7th place finish in Season 2009-10.

In November 2019 Pewsey Vale issued a club statement advising that they had withdrawn their Senior team from the Wessex League with immediate effect in order to protect their Senior League status and the future of the club. The club had struggled  to deal with the impact of the enforced lateral move of their team by the FA National Leagues Committee in the summer from the Uhlsport Hellenic League to the Sydenham's Wessex League, a decision that they had unsuccessfully appealed at the time. Going forward the club was to continue with a single Senior adult team in the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior Premier League. With the Development Team at the bottom end of the table at the time of the announcement, whilst results picked up in the few games in the second half of the season that were able to take place before Covid brought the season to an early end, Pewsey Vale were second from bottom when the 2019-20 season was brought to an early end.

There was to be no second side in Season 2020-21 but a second team was restablished in Season 2021-22 in the Swindon & District League. The team was to have a successful season winning all 16 of their league games to take the Division Two title and in Season 2022-23 entered the new Division 1 of the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League finishing in fifth place.
