Club Notes
Over the years there have been several clubs with the name Shaw who have played in and around Swindon, both in adult and youth football. This particular incarnation joined the then Skurrays Wiltshire League from the Swindon & District League playing, their games at Lydiard Park.

In the season prior to joining the Wiltshire League, Shaw were in Division 1 of the Swindon & District, finishing in 3rd place and then electing to make the step up to the Wiltshire League.

Their one and only completed season in the Wiltshire League saw them finish in a promotion position in 3rd place in Junior Division 2 behind champions Westside United and runners-up Ferndale Rodbourne. They went out of the Fountain Trophies Junior Cup at the quarter final stage that season, losing narrowly 2-1 to Minety.

They started Season 1999-2000 in Junior Division 1 getting off to a winning start with a 2-0 away win at West Swindon and followed this up with a 1-1 draw away at Minety. Unfortunately for Shaw the unbeaten run was ended by Malmesbury Victoria Reserves and by the turn of the year they had won just three of their opening 11 league fixtures but were through to the quarter finals of the Fountain Trophies Cup again. However, they were to play just one game after the turn of the year, a 6-0 home defeat in the league against Minety and this would be the last game they played in any competition in the Wiltshire League. In the end, their cup quarter final against Blunsdon United was not played giving Blunsdon a bye through to the semi-final. Shaw were the second side to withdraw from Junior Division 1 that season leaving just 9 clubs to go the full distance.
