Club Notes
West Lavington Reserves, like their first team, were a founder member of the Wiltshire County League but were to stay in the league for just one season (see separate entry for more information on West Lavington first team).

The season prior to the establishment of the Wiltshire County League had seen West Lavington Reserves playing in Division 2 of the old Wiltshire League. They had a difficult season finishing bottom of the table, level on points with Frogwell Reserves.

Their one season in the Wiltshire County League saw them play in Junior Division A but they had a torrid time winning just two games all season and shipping a massive 195 goals in their 30 games at an average of 6.5 per game. Their biggest defeat of the season was a 17-0 thrashing away at Shrewton United, and they lost 13-0 twice in Swindon against Penhill YC and Walcot Boys. They withdrew from the league after this tough season and joined the Trowbridge & District League where they had a more enjoyable season in 1977-78, finishing in 10th place in Division 4 of that league.

West Lavington Reserves were forced to leave the Trowbridge & District League the following season though when their first team pulled out of the Wiltshire County League and joined Division 4 of the Trowbridge & District League. West Lavington Reserves re-entered the Trowbridge & District League ahead of season 1982-83 only to depart again in 1988. They were back in the Trowbridge & District League for Season 1997-98 but as with their first team have subsequently folded.
