The FA have today made the draw for the Extra Preliminary and Preliminary Rounds of the FA Youth Cup and three teams playing in the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League Floodlight Division have entered this prestigious competition this coming season. The three teams are AFC Aldermaston, Radstock Town and Warminster Town and all three have been given byes in the Extra Preliminary Round and will enter at the Preliminary Round stage. AFC Aldermaston and Radstock Town have both been given home ties, with AFC Aldermaston hosting Wokingham & Emmbrook whilst Radstock’s visitors will be Weston Super Mare. The third side, Warminster Town have been given an away tie at Slimbridge. The games in the Preliminary Round are scheduled for week commencing 29th August 2022.
The current holders of the FA Youth Cup, Manchester United who beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 in last season’s final, will enter the competition at the Third Round Proper stage along with the rest of the youth sides from Premiership and Championship clubs.
